Meet Dr. Azizi Johnson-Aubert

Dr. Azizi Johnson-Aubert, FNP-C

Azizi J. Aubert is a native of Franklin, Louisiana, relocated to Houston, Texas to pursue her dream of becoming a registered nurse. After graduating with a BSN from Prairie View A& M University in 2003, she began her nursing career working in postpartum and newborn nursery. After completing her MS degree from Texas Woman’s University in 2009, her focus shifted to community health specializing in adolescent health with a focus on family planning services. Returning to Prairie View A&M University to obtain her terminal professional degree in nursing, Azizi received her Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree in 2016 with her dissertation focusing on HIV status disclosure in the adolescent population.

She provides general, routine and problem focused care with an emphasis on prevention and early detection of problems. Dr. Johnson-Aubert has a unique ability to relate to her patients. She believes in empowering patients as well as educating them about their health care options. She is truly devoted to her patients in the North Houston and surrounding area.

Dr. Johnson-Aubert, FNP-C has devoted half of her career to women’s and adolescent health and focuses on developing personalized treatment plans after consulting with and evaluating each patient. She is thorough, compassionate and believes in open communication with her patients. She also participates in continuing education to stay up to date with the latest changes to technology and research, which benefits her patients.
